1. Plug in the curling rod and turn the ON/OFF switch on.
2. Begin with dry, tangle-free hair. Apply a heat-protecting serum before styling, if desired.
3. Allow the rod to heat for about 10 seconds.
4. Section off 1/2- to 1-inch-wide portions of hair. Hold the wand downward and diagonally, away from the face, then wrap each section around the barrel from the root toward the tip.
5. Hold the curl in place for 5–10 seconds, depending on section thickness, then gently slide the rod out without unraveling the curl.
6. Continue until all hair is curled. Gently separate the curls for a softer finish, then use hairspray as desired.
