More of a satin than a matte
Pretty good for the price! I bought NIGHT RIDER - nkf03, a true intense black color. It is full coverage, without a need for a second coat. I showed a picture comparing the intensity of it (swatched on the left) to their regular Matte Lipstick in BLACK - ny420 (swatched on the right). But I do want to mention for those that expect a true matte or soft matte look or feel, it's more of a shine-y finish with a slippery feel. Maybe like the crème option that is mentioned in the description, despite buying the matte version.

Selecting color shades online can be tricky. I do not like this shade on me, even after trying to “blend it with the lip liner (also purchased from Nickak); it looked bright and chalky. Overall, it went on silky smooth, hence the name. The matte finish is nice. Just the absolute wrong color for me. I cleaned and gifted it to a family member :) I recommend the product and advise others to pay careful attention to the color selection online.

I originally bought the silky matte lipstick at a beauty store but then they were out of stock everywhere, in stores and online!! I was sold on it from day one and it's became my forever go-to lipstick.
